In 1930, astronomer and clockmaker Louis Zimmer (1888–1970) built the Jubilee (or Centenary) Clock. This dial shows the 7 days of the week, represented by their acient gods and symbols.

In 2012 a major restauration took place on the Zimmer Tower. The original dials were removed and replaced by new stainless steel ones. The original dial ornaments were cleaned, restaured and regilded. They were placed back on the Zimmer Tower’s new dials.
Please take time to look at the pictures carefully. We feel they are a good representation of the condition of the furniture. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended.
