In 1930, astronomer and clockmaker Louis Zimmer (1888–1970) built the Jubilee (or Centenary) Clock. This dial shows four drawings by Felix Timmermans, the four seasons. The duration of the season is indicated with arabic numbers for the days and roman numbers for the hours.

In 2012 a major restauration took place on the Zimmer Tower. The original dials were removed and replaced by new stainless steel ones. The original dial ornaments were cleaned, restaured and regilded. They were placed back on the Zimmer Tower’s new dials.
