'EL SEMILLA A LA VIDA' Marino Amaya

Marino Amaya (Spanish 1928 - 2014) 'El Derecho A La Vida' (The Right to Life), patinated bronze arms and hands holding an removable aluminium egg, opening to reveal a removable bronze baby, bears signature M Amaya, upon a rectangular black marble base, together with a 'El Derecho A La Vida catalogue with Marino Amaya.

Condition: Good, with minor wear to black marble base, minor scratches to egg, wear to catalogue. Marino Amaya was born in Astorga, Leon in 1928, he received his first commission as a sculptor at the age of 15 years when he sculpted a statue of the Apostle Santiago in white stone. Acclaimed to have sculpted over four thousand works in his lifetime.

A Venetian organic glass sculpture gondola 
made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy.
Most likely made by the Cristallo Venezia CCC glassworks.
Made in the sommerso technique.

Desimpel's works often seem to contain messages in secret imagery; signs and symbols that portray an atmosphere of mystery. He mainly works in large formats and is very boisterous with paint.

Great pair of red vintage table lamps made by Sis in Germany, model 861.

The lamps are in a very good condition with little wear. The conical shade is coated in a red  color. The flexible gooseneck is chrome plated and is attached to a white plastic base with a push button switch. They have never been used before, even the wires are still untangled!  excellent vintage condition.
