This icon was designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret & Charlotte Perriand.
They placed the individual at the center of their design and created the perfect balance between 
design purity and user comfort.
In 1974 Cassina started producing an all-black version of de LC4; black structure, recliner and upholstery.
Our model is from the mid 1980's.

Set of 6 dining chairs designed by Mario Bellini for Cassina the 401 break.
Fabric is soft aubergine/brown velvet with natural leather trim and black zippers.
Production is probably late seventies and some of the chairs still have the original stickers.

Velvet is on all chairs in excellent condition.
The leather trim has sign of some more intense use and are in fair condition.

Consisting of four tables which form a cylinder shape, despite each table having the same circumference they stack perfectly due to the differing heights. With the addition of having reversible table tops you can either have white or black or a mix of the two. All pieces retain their original Cassina labels. The set is in nice vintage condition, some small cracks and some small chips to lacquer
