Glasfachschule
The teaching and try-out hotshop at the Glass School in Zwiesel serves the purpose of educating and developing glassmakers as well as the design and production of high quality vessels and gift items. The products are usually designed by the headmaster, which are then handed over to the glass masters who shape the product free-hand or with the help of wooden moulds. In this way the Glass School contributes its part to preserving and further developing traditional and contemporary glass making techniques. Manufactured in small numbers the glasses are characterized by their craftsmanship and their unique decoration techniques. The glasses are signed with the logo, serial number and year of production. Every year the new assortment is presented at the fairs “Ambiente” and “Tendence lifestyle” in Frankfurt, Germany and other exhibitions in Europe.The glasses are distributed by selected galleries and specialist suppliers.
